

Davinci's Teaching Approach
The main theme of our teaching philosophy is creative. We seek to facilitate the advancement of knowledge. This guides our teaching approach that is learner centric. We emphasize learning to thinking logically rather than memorization of facts.
We present subjects in a way that attracts learners’ interest, simplify difficult topics and put knowledge into context so that its relevance is apparent.
As such, we don’t envisage our position as experts who simply deliver information to learners, but facilitators of learning which is conscious of their different learning styles and rates. Feedback from learners has been vital to the process of the academic growth we have undergone since we began our academic career development a way back.
Our teaching is also guided by continuous research that culminates into several articles, refereed journals and introductory learning textbooks for IT strategic business partnership. The impact of our preeminent trainers and academic mentors can’t be ignored. We seek to train fresh graduates, career optimists that are robust professionals and can fit into IT and business management portfolios.
We try to inspire our learners clear off negative attitudes that affect performance. Ofcourse some professors or the IT discipline itself. It is a lot to do with the mind-set of the learners which is usually the target of our other teaching focus.
METHODOLOGY AND EVALUATION
Approach
Our Courses are conceived for face-to-face training, hence allowing a constructive interaction and exchange of experiences between Facilitators and Participants. The courses will combine individual presentations by the Experts and Participants, Panel Discussions, and Group Work on selected topics. Prescribed materials are made available during the courses, and includes notes, articles, statutes and excerpts from textbooks.
The programme uses training methods chosen to ensure effective learning, to reinforce understanding, to develop practical skills to promote critical evaluation of information. Interest is maintained throughout each session by use of a variety of formats, including:
- Lively and informative presentations
- Quizzes
- Case studies based on real life scenarios
Throughout the courses, you will learn from others in your group as they share practical experiences in their work environment. You will learn by doing and by applying what you learn to your own work environment.
Thus, the training methodology is based on interactive learning. Furthermore, learners will use examples from their own organisations, thus ensuring that the learning is anchored at their workplace. This course will strive to effect actual change back at the workplace through effective and practical outcomes based training.
Evaluation
In conformity with our procedures, an evaluation of the course will be carried out at the end of the Programme to determine the perceived relevance of course contents to Participants’ needs and the effectiveness of the methodology and materials employed in achieving the course’s training objectives.

Our Intakes
Davinci is currently running on an open intake approach done either at Davinci premises or any other preferred venue by trainees’ institution of work. Training is available from 2nd January to 18th December. However, the institution runs periodic workshops, seminars and symposiums in different cities. Trainee take home
After training, our trainees are awarded with Certificates upon successful completion of our programs. We also give trainees storage devices carrying every necessary training material in different media formats such as videos, eBooks, audios and pictures/infographic. Other training incentives are also available after training.
Training duration
Our training goes for a maximum of 3 weeks; however, Davinci is open to discuss any necessary adjustments as maybe required by a trainee. During training, classes begin at 9.00 am through to 2.00 pm during which 45 minutes is spared for a tea break and one hour for lunch.
Training method
Case studies, open panel discussion, quiz, business goal and technology alignment through an in-depth discussion about strategy and appropriate tools to execute the strategy.
